The Impact baby ball head adapter turns a light stand or grip support with a 5/8-inch baby mounting stud into a platform for a compatible ball head or pan-and-tilt tripod head. The 3/8"-16 male top mount connects to a photo or video head with a female 3/8"-16 mounting thread.

The bottom connection combines a 5/8" receiver and a locking screw knob for secure attachment to a baby stud. Removing the knob allows the adapter to be used as a 1-1/8" junior stud with a compatible junior receiver or combo stand.

The aluminum body has a 2.2" diameter mounting base that accommodates most tripod heads. Three set screws secure the head to reduce loosening and wobble, including during angled installations. The adapter enables nontraditional positioning on light stands, C-stands, combo stands, booms, grip arms, and super clamps where a standard tripod footprint is impractical.
